Media Design School (MDS) will have a presence at one of the global games industry's hallmark events in late March, with a booth (#928) at the Game Developer's Conference (GDC) in San Francisco from 24-27 March.

Media Design School (MDS) will have a presence at one of the global games industry’s hallmark events in late March, with a booth (#928)?at the Game Developer’s Conference (GDC)?in San Francisco from 24-27 March.

The MDS team will be showcasing the full repertoire of console games produced out of the schools prestigious post-graduate Game Art and Game Programming?qualification - the Graduate Diploma of Game Development.

Come and meet them to hear about life in New Zealand for? study, work and play, and where our graduates end up. Play some of the award winning games to come out of the school, and find out how ‘tapped in’ MDS is to the NZ games industry.

Advanced 3D Robot Camera

The team?will also be featuring innovative technology developed out of the MDS Graduate Diploma of Advanced 3D Productions - a robot camera that enables full HDR spherical panoramic images to be captured - providing an authentic reference point for modelling natural light?in Maya.?Have a look below at?intro to the robot camera, and an interactive ‘tour’ (also on show at Booth 928 at GDC)?which showcases the technology.
