Sarada is deeply committed to blending academic theory with practical industry applications, ensuring that his students and trainees gain the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in today’s competitive global IT industry. His passion for teaching and technology makes him a respected educator and mentor on the international stage.

Sarada holds a Master’s degree in Computer Systems and Network Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Greenwich (UK). His international teaching experience includes delivering courses and training programs across Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Myanmar, Singapore, and Thailand at institutions like the University of Moratuwa, Maldives National University, and through APNIC workshops.

He is a seasoned lecturer and researcher in Information Technology, with over a decade of experience in both academic and professional training environments. His expertise spans across key areas such as enterprise/ISP networking, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and Software Defined Networking (SDN). Sarada is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge knowledge to his students and helping them excel in the rapidly evolving tech industry.

Sarada has been involved in teaching a wide array of IT-related subjects, including Information Security, Network Management, Cloud Security, and Cisco-certified courses like CCNP, CCNA and CyberOps, ensuring that his students receive globally relevant skills.

As an active researcher, Sarada’s focus lies in developing secure and scalable solutions in SDN, with particular emphasis on network performance and security.

International Teaching and Training Experience:

University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka (2013–2023): Conducted various courses such as Networking, Information Security, Cloud Security, and Advanced Routing for students and professionals.
Maldives National University Cisco Academy (2012–2013): Delivered courses in Networking, Routing, and Cybersecurity, helping to build a strong foundation in IT infrastructure for students in the Maldives.
APNIC International Workshops (2015–2023): Participated as a resource person and trainer in international workshops and conferences across Singapore, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and the Maldives, providing hands-on training on IPv6, SDN, BGP, and OSPF operations.
Guest Lecturer and Speaker: Delivered lectures and training at events such as the INET Conference in Sri Lanka, UNDP’s Technopreneurship for Social Change, and HSBC’s Cyber Awareness Week.
