Sherry Feng
Learning Facilitator - Bachelor of Software Engineering
After completing her Masters, Sherry worked as one of the youngest AI Consultants at the United Nations, where she applied advanced AI solutions to global challenges.
Sherry began her AI journey with a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of San Francisco, followed by a Masters from Columbia University. She is now pursuing a PhD at Auckland University of Technology, focusing on explainable large language models. During this time, she has also worked alongside the New Zealand Prime Minister's Chief Science Advisor, Professor Juliet Gerrard, contributing to various AI projects with national and global impact.
As a lecturer, Sherry is passionate about educating and inspiring the next generation of tech innovators. Outside of academia, she enjoys reading, gaming, and traveling, which keeps her curious and engaged with the world around her.
